The analysis and selection of silvicultural treatment alternatives for Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) and Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) karst.) stands in southern Austria is supported. The DSS supports the forest resource management consultation process with forest landowners in order to evaluate silvicultural approaches to stand management in the project area and conversion programs.
