The Working Committee of the CoP coordinates the activities and events that allow the members to regularly discuss, reflect, and evolve on DSS issues. The following responsibilities can be defined:

- DSS architecture and design: Christian Rosset, Alexandra Marques, Jussi Rassinmäki
- methods and models: Jordi Garcia, Jose Borges, Mikko Kurttila, Duncan Ray
- knowledge management processes: Harald Vacik, Chiara Torresan, Teppo Hujala, Malin Nilsson
- participatory processes: Eva-Maria Nordström, Suzanne Menzel
